How do you know you need a home business? I knew I needed a home business because I didn’t make enough money at my first job, and I was too tired to work a second job. Over the last few years, I’ve come to find that there are a lot of people who are in the same situation as myself, working full time hours but not bringing home enough money to live the lifestyle they want or deserve. When you work 40 hours a week and your pay check is not enough to take care of your financial responsibilities (not to mention no extra cash for you and your family to enjoy), you can start to feel that life is not so good.
WHEN SHOULD YOU START A HOME BUSINESS?
You should start a home business once you decide what service or product you want to promote. Picking the right service or product is crucial to your home business success. If you pick an opportunity you are passionate about and truly enjoy, more than likely you will do all the things required to grow a successful business. If you pick an opportunity just because you think it will make you money, there is a good chance you won’t do all the necessary things to make it a success. Plus, when things get hard and are not going as you expected, you are more likely to quit.
ARE NETWORK MARKETING COMPANIES THE BEST HOME BUSINESSES?
Depending on whom you ask, most network marketers will say that network marketing is the best home business to have. However, there are other types of businesses which can also be home businesses. For example, an individual who has a talent for creating custom jewelry, sells the hand-made items at swap meets, flea markets, or online. Some people are authors and write from the comforts of home. There are even personal trainers who work from home by turning their basements into gyms. So, I can’t say network marketing is the best home business, but it is the best choice for me.
IF I HAVE A HOME BUSINESS, WHEN SHOULD I QUIT MY JOB?
You should ask yourself the following questions before quitting your day job:
1. Does your home business make enough money to live the lifestyle you desire?
2. Do you enjoy your job and really want to quit?
3. Are you mentally ready to depend totally on yourself?
