SOCIAL MEDIA…..
We all talk about it, the crazy stuff that happens on social media. For example: “Will Smith Smacks Chris Rock at the Oscars!” That may have happened a few months ago, but folks are still bringing it up. In fact, just last week, Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith mentioned it on her talk show Red Table Talk. She said that she’s hoping for Chris and her husband to reconcile. Will that happen? I don’t know! But when reporters reached out to Chris to get his thoughts, a spokesperson said that he is just focusing on his comedy tour. I think that’s a perfect response.
So again, even though the Oscar “brawl” happened a few months ago, we can still hear about it on social media. And we WANT to hear about it. Let’s tell the truth! We like to hear about the things that are going on in the lives of celebrities, things that have absolutely nothing to do with us! Crazy, isn’t it?!
Every day we find ourselves logging onto Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Why? In the words of the King of Pop Michael Jackson,” It’s human nature.” It’s human to want to hear interesting stories or, let’s call it what it really is—GOSSIP! However, on a more positive note, it’s also human nature to want to connect with other people, and social media allows that.
Social media platforms allow us to connect with other people who have similar interests. How do we normally interact on social media? We may comment on someone’s Facebook post or Instagram photo. We may even decide to join various Facebook groups. For example, I belong to several marketing groups on Facebook because I like networking with those who are doing what I want to do and meeting potential clients. Also, on social media we may follow people we admire like actors, singers, rappers or athletes.
We also connect on social media by creating and watching YouTube and TikTok videos. People can really connect on platforms like Clubhouse: The Social Audio App. Even though it started as an app only for iPhone users, it’s now open to anyone who wants to create a room where they can share information and discuss topics they are passionate about.
In addition, social media allows us to see and watch others do what we want to do and have the things we desire to have. Watching other people live the lives we want to live inspires us. Many of us want…..
THE MONEY!!
THE CARS!!
THE BEACH!!
THE RELATIONSHIPS!!
Basically, the life we want may be found right on social media!
How much time do you think you spend on social media? According to the World Economic Forum (weforum.org), “on average, global internet users spend 2 hours and 27 minutes on social media per day, though trends differ widely by country.” Wow! To be honest, I thought it was more than that! I personally know some folks who spend most of the day on social media. Every chance they get, they’re grabbing their phones. But, over two hours is still a lot of time PER DAY! Does this sound like you? If so, think about this. If you’re going to spend that much time on social media scrolling through your phone, on your tablet or on your computer, it only makes sense to get paid while you’re doing it! Yes, I said get PAID!
Did you know that you can earn money while spending time on social media? It puts a whole new spin on things now, doesn’t it? For example, according to payingsocialmediajobs.com, you can work an online social media job making anywhere between $25 and $50 per hour. Do you have to go to school? No you don’t! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Do you have to go into an office? Absolutely not! You can sit in your pajamas and work from home. For instance, did you know that there are companies that will hire you to reply to every comment they receive on their business page? Oh yes! There are companies that use social media platforms like Facebook to market, and they hire people to respond because they don’t have the time to respond to every comment or question they receive. Since they don’t want to miss out on a potential client or sale for failing to reply, they simply hire someone to do it for them. They hire someone like YOU!
Do you enjoy online shopping? Did you know that the number of people, who shop online for items like clothes and shoes and even groceries, is surging? Payingsocialmediajobs.com says that with the increase in online shoppers, there is a huge demand for live chat agents. A live chat agent is someone who is available to answer customer questions and resolve issues for a particular company. They chat with customers on a live chat widget on the company’s website or on a social media app like Messenger.
You may say, “I don’t have any experience. Responding to a comment someone makes about my favorite movie or sending a direct message (DM) to a close friend is not the same as having to speak on behalf of a business I know nothing about.” But, it’s really not all that different. On social media, you discuss topics you’re familiar with, right? When a company hires you to speak for them, they provide you with all the necessary training and tools. All you need is a smart phone, tablet or laptop and a reliable internet connection.
Sam Hartigan of London is getting paid while being on social media. He says, “It’s fun, and it pays well! I love it!”
George Santos of the US says, “I’ve developed a real skill I can use to make money whenever I want. And I love helping businesses make money!”
The part I really like is knowing that it’s fun and pays well! That’s my kind of job! How about you? If people like Sam and George are doing it, why not you? It’s easy to get started. All you have to do is click the link and find out how you can get paid to be on social media.
