The Boogie Man

20160516_185321~2People fear the Boogie Man, but he’s not real! This scary monster is just a bundle of thoughts of bad things that could happen. Unfortunately, a lot of people allow fear (false- evidence- appearing-real) to stop them from living their best lives. When they have some good ideas, instead of moving on them, they let their minds tell them the ideas are bad.

The “Boogie Man” may tell them:

“That’s stupid! Nobody wants to hear that!”

“I didn’t graduate from college!”

“I don’t know how to run a business!”

“I can’t talk to people!”

“With the job I have right now, who would listen to me?”

“I’m too young!”

“I’m too old!”

“I don’t have enough experience!”

“My wife or husband will never go along with this!”

“The initial down payment is too high!”

“The down payment is too low! It must be a scam!”

“Why did that person ask me to join his company? He must know I joined three network marketing companies before. I didn’t make any money with them. Why should I believe I’ll make money with this company?”

“My mom and dad are going to laugh at me and say I’m doing one of those pyramid schemes again!”

“I’ll look like a fool! Nope, I’m not doing it!”

Sounds familiar? Everyone has fears, but the successful people push past their fears and do the things that are necessary to get to where they want to be. They find the process and do not deviate from it.

What is the process?

1. Believe you can accomplish anything you set out to do.

2. Be willing to learn as much as you can about whatever it is you’re trying to do.

3. Know there will be people who do not care or want you to succeed.

4. Your success or failure is totally up to you.
