Will you do what it takes?
People in the direct sales or network marketing industry want great success! However, some are not willing to put in the work or make the necessary sacrifices to get to where they want to be.
So, what does it take to be successful in the home business industry? First, you have to have tough skin! Anyone in this business has to get used to rejection. On average, 7 out of 10 people will not want your product or business opportunity. The next two will probably procrastinate, and one might join.
Second, you need to be consistent. If you’re doing offline marketing, you have to prospect. Prospecting can be challenging, but if you learn the process (1. Generate a lead. 2. Connect with a lead. 3. Determine the need) and stick to it, you will grow your business. Make it a priority to talk to people everyday by just getting out there. Even if you get 20 no’s, don’t be discouraged because somebody is going to say yes!
If you’re doing online marketing, you want to begin by starting a fan page. Next, create a blog. Also, learn video marketing. Basically, you want to do what is necessary to connect with people who would be interested in what you have to offer. In addition, in order to get better at marketing, you want to buy online courses, receive online coaching, watch training webinars and attend company events.
