All Marketers Should Know AIDA

cropped-mark1.jpgAll marketers should know¬†AIDA. AIDA is the process that’s going to help you build a profitable business. In the world of online marketing and network marketing, there are two things you need to know:

(1) Marry the process.

(2) Divorce the outcome.

In other words, if you want to be great at marketing, commit to the process and do not worry about the outcome.

Let’s face it! Nobody wants to be average when it comes to marketing their own products. Only the great marketers make a lot of money. You want to make money, right? Good! Then, let’s get to the process, AIDA, which contains the four steps you’re going to need to build your business:

(1) Attraction

(2) Interest

(3) Desire

(4) Action

1. Attraction: Present a free offer, which should be something of value, to your target market in exchange for an email address or phone number. For example, if your business is Health and Wellness, you may offer five tips to losing stubborn fat around the belly. If it’s Real Estate, you may offer a ten page PDF on how to get the most profit from the sale of your home. If it’s Travel, you can give your top three winter destinations.

2. Interest: Create content that you know your target market wants. Teach them how to solve their biggest problem. When you teach on a particular subject, that makes you look like the authority. If you’re considered an authority, people listen.

3. Desire: Create a blog or Facebook live post designed to make people desire what you have to offer.  Convince them that  joining your business opportunity or buying  your product makes them better, feel better, look better and be more prestigious in the eyes of other people.

Examples:

“I belong to this company where we’re doing big things!”

“Now that I’m using this product, my hair is getting the same treatment as the First Lady!”¬†

4. Action: This is the best part of the process, but the hardest. Everyone wants success, but everyone is not willing to do the work. For instance, everyone won’t prospect until they get 20 no’s. Not everyone will write 3 to 5 blog posts a week. Only a few will buy courses that will teach them new ¬†skills.
